Between the 28th of January and 1st of February, Portugal presented itself at FITUR 2015 (International tourism fair of Madrid) and featured the ‘themes’ why all world should visit Portugal. Among cork, wine and music festivals, they highlighted for the first time the portuguese urban art.
WOOL saw featured one of the pieces from WOOL ON RESIDENCE, the one by Bordalo II, elected one of the most beautiful from 2014.
We were invited also to take one artist to work in loco in the stand of Portugal (which was awarded Best International Stand by the way!) and under the theme of ‘celebration’. We took with us Add Fuel, chosen because of his distinctive style, full of tradition and ‘portugality’.
A big thank you to Turismo de Portugal ( Visit Portugal ), Teresa, Adelaide, Fernando, Gilberto, Maria Vale, Rodrigo, Maria and all the rest of the team, for the good times and the wonderful experience!!
The second act of LATA 65 – urban art workshop for seniors, financed by the Orçamento Participativo de Lisboa – 2013 (Lisbon Participatory Budget), took place at Benfica between the 26th and 27th January.
We know this is not from this new year, not even 2014, but finally we received our copy of the book TOUR PARIS 13, reporting all rooms transformed by the 105 artists and all the good moments we passed out there!
