Hugo Makarov^PT

Born in Lisbon in 1979 and exposed from an early age to visual arts such as comics and illustration, he ended up entering the world of tattooing and advertising and editorial illustration while still at university, activities he managed to combine for ten years, working in some of Lisbon’s most striking tattoo studios and at the same time taking part in commercial projects with companies such as Continente or Worten.

In the last ten years, with his own private tattoo studio, he has also started running illustration workshops, teaching at an international college, doing children’s illustration as well as an independent clothing brand and some food collection campaigns for abandoned animal shelters.
