Umbra is an artist who navigates between the digital and the physical, with a particular interest in exploring the possibilities offered by new technological tools. In many of his works, these contemporary languages are combined with traditional media, giving rise to works that arouse sensations and deep reflections. His production takes on diverse forms – from immersive pieces to sensory experiences – and is often marked by abstraction. Inspired by the idea of “umbra” as shadow, his work delves into the liminal zones of perception – where darkness is not absence, but a space of fertile silence, suspension and possibility. By avoiding closed narratives, Umbra invites us to inhabit this interval between the visible and the imagined, to construct our own meanings, transforming each work into a territory of contemplation, transformation and inner discovery.
