“GOOD AND BAD IDEAS” by Hugo Makarov^PT

“BOAS E MÁS IDEIAS” (Good and bad ideas) is an exhibition of the sketchbooks of Hugo Makarov, recognised for his compulsive doodling on any paper, wood, fabric or a lot of skin. And that could be all. But wandering through the more than sixty sketchbooks that make up this exhibition invites you to travel through time and space. His and ours. And when we say “ours”, we mean it literally, because among the hundreds of drawings, quotes, thoughts or plant elements, inscribed and pasted between 2006 and 2022, we found memories of WOOL’s beginnings.
