If there are people who like to live in the past, Simão Madaleno is undoubtedly one of them. He has always surrounded himself with ‘old bits and bobs’ from the 70s and 80s – the true analogue era, simple and robust – having grown up buying and listening to vinyl at home and later deciding to share the musical culture of those very eras.

This gave rise to the Solid State project, an attempt to transport listeners to the worlds of pop, rock and disco, on a journey through several decades of the past.
