More than celebrating a decade of activity, “WOOL | Covilhã Arte Urbana 2011-2021” is a document about identity and memory. A book about the transformation of territories, their communities, and their imaginaries. It is about the transformation of people by people, of places by people, and of people by art.

This book presents itself as a meeting place, where the history of this initiative intersects with the history of Portuguese urban art, with the journey of countless artists who are now recognised worldwide and who began with challenges launched by WOOL, with so many other personal stories, ours and those of so many people throughout this territory and abroad.
