Paulo Fernandes (b. 1972) has a degree in International Relations from the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP) of the Technical University of Lisbon.
He is currently Mayor of Fundão, having previously served as Vice-President and Councillor for areas such as sport, culture and social action.
He is the founder and president of the Schist Villages Network and founder of the Historic Villages of Portugal Network, among other organisations related to Regional Development.
